Conan O'Brien Must Go is back for a third season, premiering Friday on HBO and Max.

The four-episode season sends O'Brien to India, the Netherlands, Morocco and the Philippines, continuing the format that built the show's first two seasons: O'Brien travels to meet fans he first connected with through his podcast, Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, and lets the trip's mishaps and cultural detours drive the comedy rather than a studio setup.

The Netherlands episode leans into King's Day chaos, Amsterdam's cycling culture and the country's tulip fields. In the Philippines, O'Brien learns about jeepneys and visits General Douglas MacArthur's former suite. The Morocco episode, according to crew accounts, took the production from Casablanca and Marrakech into the Sahara, with O'Brien learning to pour traditional Moroccan tea and spending time with an Amazigh community.

The series was renewed for Season 3 in March 2025, ahead of its second-season premiere. Season 1 took O'Brien to Norway, Thailand, Argentina and Ireland; Season 2 sent him to Spain, New Zealand and Austria with guest appearances from Javier Bardem and Taika Waititi.
